GALESBURG, ILLINOIS (January 16, 2026) — Knox College's Etz Family Institute for Civic Leadership and Dialogue will host an evening discussion with Robert P George and Cornel West (below). West is a progressive philosopher, social activist, and public intellectual, and the Dietrich Bonhoeffer Chair of Philosophy and Christian Practice at Union Theological Seminary in New York City.

MONMOUTH, ILLINOIS (January 14, 2026) — An art exhibit originally slated to be installed in downtown Monmouth is instead currently on display in the Len G Everett Gallery on the upper level of Hewes Library on the Monmouth College campus.

"We're happy that we were able to provide our gallery space for this exhibition while the Buchanan Center for the Arts is under construction," said Monmouth art professor Stacy Lotz.

GALESBURG, ILLINOIS (January 14, 2026) — Knox College will host the 13th annual Jerome Mirza Jazz Residency from January 19 to 23.

The residency connects Knox students and the Galesburg community with world-class jazz artists for a week of workshops and collaborative activities, culminating in a free concert at the historic Orpheum Theatre.
